If you know your Myers-Briggs type, this site describes the general traits of introversion as well as the 8 subcategories of introversion (no charge)

2. HIGHLY SENSITIVE PERSON 
Elaine Aron believes that approximately 20% of the population are highly sensitive people (HSPs) and of those, only about 30% are extroverts. It stands to reason that if you are an introvert, it’s likely you could be an HSP as well. Aron’s books and the noted website are a treasure chest chock full of information for you.
